I noticed a change in one of the restaurants I like to eat at on occasion.
They used to give you a tray with napkins and a knife and fork for each person at the table. Now they just give you a napkin and a fork.
When the waitress brought out my drink she brought me more napkins. However, she brought out the meal without providing a knife.
Now, I like to order a large side salad, then I get my burger on a lettuce bun. I put it all together to make a big, delicious salad.
Not so easy to do without a knife.
Since the waitress was nowhere to be found I did my best to cut up the burger and lettuce bun with the edge of my fork.
It was not pretty, but I did manage to make some progress.
Slowly.
When she finally reappeared, I asked for a knife and from there I had a whole other experience. It was now fast, easy, and much neater to get the food into bite-sized pieces.
The right tools can make all the difference!
The same is true for your finances.
The right tools can make financial success so much easier and faster… and less frustrating.
We spend so much time worrying about our finances when having some basic tools and techniques in place can make all the difference.
For example, my Income Allocation Method takes all the work- and guesswork- out of budgeting. After all, who wants to spend all that time figuring out how much they have spent and categorizing each purchase?
By having automatic allocations set up to sub accounts- and then using those accounts as the determining factor in whether something can be purchased or not- you save so much time and brainpower.
After all, we can only make so many decisions before we experience decision fatigue (yes, it is a thing!).
I have covered it in detail in other posts, workshops, and my Money Mom Academy, so I will not include it here, but it is just one of the many tools I can equip you with as you travel down the road to financial independence.
If you would like to learn more about money, finances, investing, and money mindset, please contact me to discuss where you are, where you want to go, and if I am part of the team you need to get there.
Or you can continue to DIY using my posts, videos, workshops, and masterclasses (like the one coming up next week!).
What is the one tool that you feel would make the biggest difference in your toolbox for financial success?
