I was recently reminded that the original Genie was not limited to just three wishes, but that he could grant unlimited wishes. It appears the three wish limit either was the result of a trick (something to do with a fisherman) or when the story came to Europe (because Europeans liked things in threes)…
In the Bible we are told to ASK and we shall receive. The Bible does not limit how many things we can ask for.
Whether you are religious, spiritual, or something else, you have the power to ASK for what you want.
The trick is you cannot just ASK. You have to also be ready to listen and take inspired action when you hear that little voice in your head telling you what you need to do. Do not question it or try to trick it. Do what you are told. Even if it does not make sense in the moment.
I hope it goes without saying that this little voice will not tell you to do something immoral or unethical. If you hear a voice telling you to do something bad, please contact a professional who can help.
As it also says in the Bible, God helps those who help themselves.
Please note, it is not up to you to determine the HOW. You just focus on what you want, ask for it, and take action when prompted (even if it does not make sense).
There is no way to tell whether your answer will come in a minute, a day, or a decade. So you must have patience (all things in their time).
It really helps if you take a little time each day to focus on what you want. How does it feel? smell? look? taste? touch? Involve all your senses. And from that emotion give thanks for having it in your life. Never underestimate gratitude!
Looking back I can see so many time when this happened for me:
When I was 15 I told a woman I had just started riding for that I wanted to buy her farm when she decided to sell. I ended up purchasing it when I was 31.
When I purchased my 2012 car in 2014 I told the salesman I would take it , “but make it blue or red”. In 2020 my replacement car was blue. They had a red one, but I liked the blue better. When I called to make the purchase I told that same salesman that since I needed a new car and they actually had a blue one (amazing since that dealer tends to only stock black, white, and grey) I just had to buy it.
When Morgan had purchased her first new car and the car I had purchased for her to learn how to drive on was dying, I decided I was going to go back to a Mustang. My only requirement was that it be a stick and it could not be a convertible. A couple days later my parents called from North Carolina. There was a MCA Mustang available that not only met my requirements, but reminds me of the Mustang I had in high school. I feel like a teen every time I get behind the wheel (except my high school car never even thought of growling like this one does!).
The list goes on and on, but you get the idea. This is not just some “woo woo” concept; it is real.
