I remember the moment very vividly.
I was walking into my office at the not-for-profit where I was working at the time. There were piles of papers and folders on two chairs and my desk, plus more on the floor behind my chair.
It was year-end, which meant that everything had to be reconciled. It was my last chance to ensure the grants were spent down and the funds were used appropriately.
This was an agency with 100+ grants. I had around 50 of them. Many were small (under $100K).
And I thought to myself “Is this all there is???”
If you have had this thought you know how defeating it can be.
I had two choices. I could either accept this as my fate or I could change my future.
I chose the latter.
Within a couple months I had a new job, making a lot more money, and higher up the org chart. But there were still long hours and lots of piles. The same fate at a higher pay grade.
Then I realized I did not know what my purpose was. After all, I must be here for a reason, right? So, I started focusing on my all-elusive purpose.
It took a few years, but I narrowed it down. First to helping people achieve their dreams. Then to helping people achieve their dreams by teaching them how to achieve financial success. Then to helping them cut the learning curve to financial freedom, whatever that might mean to them.
I spent decades and tens of thousands of dollars learning about money, finances, investing, and money mindset. And, because I did, you do not have to- especially if you do not find nirvana in a spreadsheet! 😉
I am here to give my knowledge to you. To cut the learning curve. To make financial literacy simple… and maybe even a little fun! To help you achieve your dreams and goals.
I love to remind you that I offer everything you need to know right here so you can DIY your way to success. I have never held anything back. I even offer free First Steps financial strategy calls and make myself available via email or DM to everyone.
I just gave you a 5-day Credit Basics workshop. And I offered masterclasses on almost everything, including saving, home buying, investing, insurances, retirement options, budgeting, and more.
I have offered mentoring and/or accountability to those who have asked me to work with them on specific areas.
Now, I have an 8-module, self-paced course that can grow with you from wherever you are now to the most confident go-to money expert (aka “money mom”) in your family and in your social circle. The best part is that it has tons of ongoing support so you are never alone! This is perfect for those motivated moms who want the best for their families and do not have the time to DIY, research, or piecemeal it all together. I understand- you want instant gratification and quick results.
What level of support do you prefer? If you do not know, reach out to me and we can figure it out together!
