Step 5: Take Action
The language of investing, just like any other language, can be overwhelming at first and seem difficult to learn but, with time, you, too, will be conversational in it.
But, if you do not try to speak it, you will never become conversational.
So, take your basic understanding of the language, choose a company, decide how much you want to invest, and go for it.
Worst case scenario you lose your investment. That is why you never invest more than you can afford to lose. If so, learn from it and try again.
Best case scenario you find the next big thing and become fabulously wealthy.
The most likely scenario is that you will have more money in the future than you would have had you done nothing or invested in something other than the stock market. There are few investments that can beat the historical stock market returns.
