What would you be doing if you had more money?
I see this question all over facebook, usually by financial coaches either looking for new people to promote their product to or doing market research (even if the people answering are not their target market)…
Did you ever stop to think that money is not the solution to your problem?
Money is just a vessel that helps us do what is already inside of us.
If you want more money so you have emergency savings, start saving now.
If you want more money so you can invest more, start investing now.
If you want more money so you can give more, give now.
If you think having more money would cause you to have less stress, more opportunities, more fun, less worry, or be healthier, figure out ways to incorporate those things into your life now.
You can meditate, do yoga, stop eating processed/fast foods, tap, journal, or any number of things regardless of your income.
Because here is the secret the people asking “what would you do” are not telling you:
Having more money does not eliminate problems, it just changes them.
You have to work on your mindset. By taking action now you activate the psychological conditions needed to ultimately be successful and reach your goals.
Even if it is “only” $1 per week.
Even if it is not perfect (although consistency does help immensely).
What are you doing today to flip the switch?
