Have you ever found you are so close to a goal, only to have something come along to ruin it?
I think we have all had this happen.
You have $457 in your savings account- and you are so excited to be almost halfway to your goal of $1,000- when your furnace needs a repair that costs $422.
Or, you almost have your car paid off only to discover it will not pass inspection and you have to buy a new car.
Did you know it has been scientifically proven that when this happens it is because of a money block?
Your thoughts become your reality. And as long as you do not believe you are the kind of person who has $1,000 in savings, you will subconsciously sabotage yourself to keep yourself where you are comfortable (even if that means your life is anything but comfortable!).
These “emergency” purchases are just your brain’s way of keeping you in the life you know.
Because change is scary.
But, you CAN break free from the known.
All it takes is a small opening to start proving yourself wrong and replacing those old, limiting thoughts with new ones.
You can start small. Change “I do not have any extra money to put into savings” to “How can I save $1,000 by the end of the year?”, then if you really want to get crazy ask “How can I save $1,000 in three months?”.
Your brain loves to figure things out. It also loves to prove you right. But, it has a strong BS meter so if you try to trick it into a new belief, it will call you out. Use your brain to your advantage.
So, what limiting beliefs are keeping you small, stuck, and broke? And how are you going to change your world?
