How To- Make Reaching Your Goals Easier

Was one of your New Years’ resolutions to start or increase your savings account?

Did you?

Did you know that if you had put just $10 per week into savings since January 1st you would currently have $230 saved right now? And you would have $520 by the end of the year?

Goals can feel very overwhelming.

But if you break them down into small, actionable steps that become habits, they feel much more doable.

$3 per day becomes $1,095 over the course of a year.

Do you think you could carve $1.42 per day ($10 per week) or even $3 per day out of your current spending?

You could actually gamify this and make it a contest with a friend or family member to see who can save the most. (this is especially fun for the kids if you put the cash in clear jars)

Set your intentions for what you will do with the money when the goal is met. It could be your emergency savings, travel, a new toy, wedding, or the downpayment on a car or house!

What small step are you taking today toward your goals?
