How To- Get What You Deserve

What do you deserve?

There is a lot of science behind the “woo woo” of mindset.

Do you believe you deserve financial freedom?

Do you believe you deserve to have nice things?

Do you believe you deserve to have your dreams come true?

Or do you find yourself saying things like:
“That is why I cannot have nice things?”
“More money, more problems”
“Money can’t buy happiness”
“That works for others, but not for me”
“I can’t afford that”
etc, etc…

The easiest way to break free from the limiting mindset you might have is to first catch yourself saying or thinking something negative or limiting.

Then- and this is very important- write it down.

Next, come up with everything you can think of that disproves this limiting statement.

For example: “Wealthy people are horrible, unhappy people”. Okay, well Oprah and Ellen are wealthy and do not seem horrible or unhappy. Wealthy people can use their wealth to help others in the world who are less fortunate. Wealthy people can use their money to buy experiences and education for their friends and family that are not available to poor people. And so on. (I bet you could easily add to this list)

Write all of these down.

The final step is to repeat these rebuttals any time you find yourself thinking that old default message.

You can even be proactive and say the new, empowering messages daily or several times per day.

And, if you find it difficult to truly believe any of them, simply put “it is possible” in front of your new empowering belief. Sometimes you only need to give yourself permission to believe for things to start changing.

I once caught myself saying “I deserve it”. I honestly cannot remember what exactly I was thinking about, but I do remember realizing that “I deserve it” or “I deserve that” could be either a positive or a negative.

We have to be very careful which thoughts we allow into our lives. I could have been saying I deserve something really positive or it could just as easily be something really negative. I no longer use the word “deserve” because of this.

Words are powerful.

So, what negative, limiting thoughts have you been holding on to? What are you going to replace them with?
