How To- Think About Retirement At the Mid-Point

I am pretty much halfway through my working years, assuming I want to retire by 65.

What do most people do when they realize this?

They tend to have one of four thoughts:

“I have not started saving for retirement!”

“I have not saved enough toward retirement.”

“I am not going to live past 65 so I do not need to worry about retirement.”

Or

“I am on target and will be all set for retirement.”

Which of the four are you?

And, for the employers, where do your employees fall on the spectrum? Do you have some who are depending on you to keep them on payroll until their last day on Earth?
